Trumpeter Pedro Knight last farewell - Feb 19, 2007
Last Tuesday at the Frank E. Campbell funeral home in Manhattan, friends and family offered their last and respectul regards to music and trumpeter Pedro Knight, widower of the legendary salsa singer Celia Cruz, who died a few days ago. The good-bye was just before his remains were driven to the Woodlawn cemetery in the Bronx, where they will stayed along with those of his late wife, Celia Cruz. “It’s a day of sadness and happiness. Soon they’ll both be together,” said musical producer Emilio Estefan, who was present at the ceremony.
